We understand that both healthcare and the overall cost of living in Oregon are expensive. If you require sliding-scale services, please check out the following resources:

  1. Adapt Integrated Health Care: Private, nonprofit organization in Central and Southern Oregon where no one is turned away due to the inability to pay; Provides sliding scale fees based on application.

  2. Allies in Change: Provides low-cost and sliding-scale individual, couples, and group counseling services; Sub-specialty in anger management and domestic / intimate partner violence.

  3. Lewis & Clark Community Counseling Center: Provides high-quality, low-cost services to individuals, families, couples, and children. Also provides specialized treatment for gambling behaviors.

  4. Pacific Psychology & Comprehensive Health Clinic: Provides comprehensive, sliding-scale services, including medication management and speech pathology treatment, to Adults, Couples, & Families in Portland and Hillsboro. Also accepts most OHP plans.

  5. Portland State University Community Counseling Clinic: Low-cost individual, relationship, and family counseling, including services for children and adolescents. Fees are $20 / session. Reduced fees can be negotiated in cases of financial hardship.

  6. Open Path Collective: A nationwide nonprofit where members (after a one-time fee) can access therapists for $40–$70 per session.

  7. Outside In: Provides behavioral health and substance use treatment to adults & young adults experiencing homelessness or other marginalized groups. Accepts OHP, and no one is turned away due to inability to pay.
